Who is not eligible for legal aid

Kartavyam reserves the right to deny or terminate legal aid services in the following circumstances.
Eligibility conditions violated
Any individual found to be in violation of the prescribed eligibility conditions for availing free legal aid from Kartavyam.
Not a member of marginalised sections
Persons who do not qualify as members of marginalised sections of society as defined under Kartavyam's institutional guidelines.
Failed background verification
Applicants failing background verification conducted by Kartavyam at any stage during the pendency of proceedings.

Important notice: Kartavyam reserves the right to terminate services at any stage if the applicant is found to have misrepresented facts or violated institutional guidelines. All applications are subject to ongoing verification throughout the duration of legal proceedings.
